Win a Steam key for Serial Cleaner, a game about cleaning up murders!

Serial Cleaner

How much blood have you mopped up at work this week? How about corpses removed and brain matter scraped out of carpets? No, nothing? Well then, your workplace sounds positively boring compared to what Serial Cleaner has in store for you.

Serial Cleaner isn’t a game about doing the laundry and washing the dishes. It’s much more stylish and gory than that. You play a guy known as The Cleaner who works for the mob by cleaning up the mess they leave behind after a hit. What that entails is removing evidence of particularly gruesome crimes.

Nasty as that might sound, Serial Cleaner is played from a top-down perspective, so the grisly details are kept at a distance. It also borrows a California Sun aesthetic, with bright yellows, oranges, and reds (lots of red) occupying the screen. It fits the 1970s setting pretty damn well.

It’s not always a case of heading in and throwing dead bodies in the bin, though. Sometimes you’ll be living life even more on the edge as people come to investigate the sounds of gunshots and death. That’s when the game turns up the stealth so that you have to do your business and get out without being spotted by the cops.
