To be fair, I do say it "possibly doesn't get the love it should". Happy to give you the points you make, especially since they don't conflict with the few points of criticism I suggest, which are mainly concerned with the story.
Urgh I just exploded from how right you are. Same with The Last of Us (I acknowledge this is a divisive opinion, however correct).
I was just like, 'Uncharted has a good story? It was garbage. Gameplay sandbox was amazing though. These guys are just wrong!' Then I figured out I was confusing Uncharted with Just Cause...
I'm still a belieVR, just about. Though everyone agrees that the market right now isn't viable, we're certain of at least one more 'wave' of developments, maybe more. And no-one can be certain that the next wave isn't the one where VR attains critical mass.
I'm not a believer. I've been gaming for a long time, longer than any editor at pcgamesn and as an old-timer I have seen what worked for gamers and what didn't and after a while you get a good sense of what the majority wants and VR isn't one of them, it doesn't have long term mass appeal for a few reasons.
There are microtransactions for cosmetics, but that's it, and the cosmetics can be earned through gameplay too.
It looks like all the new playable content will be free (I've added a small update on this, thanks for the question!)
This sounds like the GW2 business-model. Psyched if so!
Pleasure! Might just do the same. Looks great, doesn't it?
That would be the Thousand Sunny, the Strawhat Pirate's ship from One Piece, not Kon on the side of a building.
Ack you're right, have made an edit. Apologies, late night!
Pretty sure that's him at 11 seconds, not as a character, but as a face on... whatever that building is.
That would be Khaine, the elven god of murder... T-posing ;-)
Oh cool, you're in for a treat! It's been surpassed, but BioShock 1 is still one of the best shooters ever.
We do - details are on our 'About' page:
Oh, there it is. Thanks!
