Multiversus cast and voice actors

Featuring a huge amount of talent, the Multiversus cast includes many familiar voice actors reprising their roles and some newcomers.

Who are the Multiversus voice actors? While it might seem like an easy task to bring together voice actors from numerous IPs, it’s a lot harder than it sounds. Fortunately, Multiversus has brought together most of the actors from their respective series, alongside some new talent to voice Warner Bros’ classic characters.

It’s just one of the ways that Multiversus stands out in the fighting game scene as a polished platform fighter with character. Speaking of which, if you want to know who out of the already massive roster is the best to play as, our Multiversus tier list has every fighter ranked.

Multiversus voice actors: Bugs is about to throw a custard pie.

Bugs Bunny

Multiversus has one actor playing multiple roles: Eric Bauza. He’s not only the main announcer heralding the start and end of a match, but the Canadian voice actor has been the current Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian, Tom, and Jerry for several years. All of which appear in this game. He has the most lines as Bugs, so we’re placing him here. As for Eric’s other roles, he’s also the current Daffy Duck and Tweety Bird.

Multiversus voice actors: Batman is scowling down the camera lens.

Batman

Multiversus marks the last role of Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman, as the actor passed away in late 2022 from cancer. Kevin primarily voiced the Caped Crusader for much of his career, beginning with Batman: The Animated Series and perhaps most famously throughout the Batman Arkham trilogy. The only other notable gaming role is as Lord Jack in Max Payne 2.

Mulitiversus voice actors cast: the Joker looks puzzled.

The Joker

This may also be the last time we hear Mark Hamill as The Joker, as the actor has seemingly retired from voicing the iconic villain. He explained his retirement decision during a Q&A session during the 2023 Fan EXPO San Francisco. “They would call and say, ‘They want you to do the Joker,’ and my only question was, ‘Is Kevin Batman?’. If they said yes, I would say, ‘I’m in.’ He later emphasized, ‘Without Kevin there, there doesn’t seem to be a Batman for me.'”

Hamill is most known for his role as Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars series. However, he’s since had a successful career in voice acting, including Goro Majima in the original English dub of Yakuza. You may also have heard him in several roles in Full Throttle, Christopher Blair in the Wing Commander series, and The Watcher in Darksiders.

Multiversus voice actors: Superman stands valiantly.

Superman

The other DC characters also have familiar voices. This includes George Newbern, who has been Superman in animated shows and features since 2003. He was also the villain of Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children and many side games, but not the remakes.

Multiversus voice actors: Harley and the Joker are teaming up

Harley Quinn

Tara Strong returns as Harley Quinn, having voiced the character since Batman: Arkham City. She has many iconic cartoon character roles, including Timmy from The Fairly Odd Parents, Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls. She’s also Ferra in Mortal Kombat X and X-23 in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Multiversus voice actors: Wonder Woman arms herself and prepares for battle.

Wonder Woman

The only new addition to the DC cast is Abby Trott, who is Wonder Woman. Her best-known role is Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer, but she’s also Gwen in League of Legends and Pod 153 in Nier Automata.

Multiversus voice actors cast: Taz is just landed after falling.

Taz

Other returning voice actors include Jim Cummings, who is reprising the role of the Tasmanian Devil that he first played in Taz-mania. You’ve likely heard him in many different cartoons and games. He has played Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Pete in various Mickey Mouse cartoons, Darkwing Duck in both the original TV series and his return in the Duck Tales reboot, and many more. Game fans will also recognize his voice as Dr. Robotnik (Eggman) in the Sonic SATAM TV series and even The Master from the first of the many Fallout games.

Multiversus voice actors: Rick is starring at his remote.

Rick and Morty

Multiversus isn’t without controversy, namely with the voice of Rick and Morty. Initially, series co-creator Justin Roiland played both characters and his voice was in the game during the beta. However, he was dismissed from the show in January 2023 after NBC reported accusations of violence and abuse, and the roles were recast for future seasons. The new Rick and Morty in-game are these recast talent, Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden, respectively.

Finally, John Eric Bentley is the actor filling in for LeBron James. He’s a seasoned cast member with iconic roles, including Barrett Wallace in both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth, and Aide in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He also regularly stands in for Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury in Marvel cartoons.
