Monster Hunter: World character creator might allow do overs

Monster Hunter: World battle

Monster Hunter: World has an impressive character creator, letting you make highly detailed, gorgeous hunters. However, in some cases, faces haven’t looked quite the way they did during creation, leading to some odd looking campers.

But now the game’s creators have said they would consider adding a character creator redo feature, but only if there is enough fan demand.

Still not convinced? Check out five reasons why you should be excited about Monster Hunter: World on PC.

During a recent interview with Game Watch Impress at the Taipei Game Show (via Siliconera), Monster Hunter World’s creators clarified there is currently no way to redo characters, however it is a feature which may be considered in the future.

“You can’t redo it, but when making a character you can check their expressions, so you might want to do that first while making a character,” said producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. “However, if there’s enough demand for it then I’ll put it under consideration.”

In the meantime, the creators have some tips to ensure your character is just as beautiful in the daytime as in the evening.

“You can change the lighting on the bottom-left,” advised director Yuyu Tokuda. “Using that, not only see what it’s like during the daytime, but you can also check the expressions and such for night. I think if you use that while making it, it might not be as off.”
