Hunt for Easter eggs in Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come: Deliverance builds

Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance had plenty of Easter eggs – the videogame kind – when it launched, but with patch 1.4, you can now hunt for actual eggs in the game.

Check out our guide to mastering Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s tricky combat system.

Patch 1.4 includes a host of changes, including a limited-time egg hunt. The patch notes say that one of the eggs is golden, which means it’ll be worth a lot of Saviour Schnapps.

There’s more: Now you can pick hair and beard styles at bath houses, and having a fresh cut will boost your charisma. There’s a new Easter-themed Czech weapon called the Pomlázka, and in keeping with the resurrection theme of the weekend, NPCs killed by various bugs have been brought back to life.

They’ve also added a new unarmed “mercy kill” option, which the patch notes say provides a new, more subtle way to complete certain quests.

Under the hood, Warhorse say they’ve fixed another 200 “major bugs” in the patch. You can also download a free HD texture and audio pack, which they’re calling their first free DLC.

You can read the full patch notes on the Steam page.
