The list of weapons available in the Far Cry 5 Mars DLC might have just been uncovered. Reddit users Wa11etWarrior and CoffeeChipmunk were investigating the farcry5.fat file when they found what appears to be a list of sci-fi weaponry. They’re all empty placeholder files, but they do give us an idea of what to expect in the upcoming extraterrestrial adventure.
Maybe the key to happiness in Far Cry 5 isn’t violence, but fishing.

We particularly love the Power Glove (it’s so bad). The Mars DLC is one of the three announced expansions for Far Cry 5, the others being a Vietnam setting and, of course, a zombie setting.
Far Cry has a history with eclectic DLC. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon revelled in an ‘80s neon vaporwave aesthetic, with an action B-movie vibe complete with voice work from Sgt. Kyle Reese himself (Michael Biehn). Can we expect a voice acting star role for Matt Damon for this Mars expansion? Probably not. Maybe Matt LeBlanc, though, from his star-making turn in Lost in Space.
