Cyberpunk 2077’s entire E3 demo has leaked – in audio form

cyberpunk 2077 e3 demo leak

Cyberpunk 2077 made a big splash at E3, thanks largely to the 100-second trailer that closed Microsoft’s press briefing. But people in attendance at the show got to see far more footage than that, with CD Projekt Red showing an hour long gameplay demo to press behind closed doors. That demo’s been described in detail all over the internet and now, finally, you can see it for yourself. Er, rather, you can listen to it.

The audio of the full presentation is now on the internet, where it shall live forever, as all things do once they hit the web. So you can take a listen, close your eyes, and imagine what the world of Cyberpunk 2077 might look like – and, more concretely, get a taste of the voice acting, including the female version of our player character V.

Direct your hype toward all the biggest upcoming PC games.

We don’t know who leaked the audio – it wasn’t us, I swear – but the files were noticed and linked to by DSOGaming. The originals could be taken down by CD Projekt at any point if the whim strikes, so listen while they last, and before your searches get way more difficult.

The Cyberpunk 2077 release date is still a long while off, but the game’s not so far out that you should be planning your retirement around it. The demo was running on current-gen hardware – a single GTX 1080 Ti – at E3, and CD Projekt promises that it was indeed a real, working build of the game. Just, uh – hey. CD Projekt. Pretty please can we see that demo out in public?
