If you’ve pre-purchased on Steam, Black Ops 2 may well already be planting seeds in your electric box while we natter away here. But when will it be playable? Would you like to know?
Treyarch’s PC man, Cesar ‘@pcdev’ Stastny, has posted the full unlock schedule here, which I’ve synthesised below for your perusal.

Australia (Sydney) – Nov 12th 5am PST (Midnight Nov 13th EDT)
Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan/China) – Nov 12th 7am PST (Midnight Nov 13th JST)
Russia/CIS/Turkey/Greece/Middle East/Africa – Nov 12th 12pm PST (Midnight Nov 13th MSK)
Rest of Europe (excluding UK) – Nov 12th 3pm PST (Midnight Nov 13th CET)
UK – Nov 12th 4pm PST (Midnight Nov 13th GMT)
North America/South America – Retail: Nov 12th 9pm PST (Midnight Nov 13 EST), Steam Store: Nov 13th 12:01am PST (3:01am Nov 13th EST)

For a split second halfway down that list, I began to understand the sheer scale of the operation Activision are unfolding across the world today. But then I remembered Black Ops 2’s mammoth new zombie mode, and thought about that instead.
“Don’t worry if the Steam site says something different,” said Stastny on Twitter, adding: “Sorry Gabe.”
