The Resistance DLC for Call of Duty: WW2 comes to PC in February

Call of Duty World War 2 games

The first DLC pack for Call of Duty WW2 will release for PC in February. The Resistance DLC adds three new multiplayer maps, a new War Mode mission, and a new Zombies chapter.

Call of Duty: WW2 is one of our picks for the best games of 2017.

The layout of the three new maps are currently a mystery, but Activision have offered some descriptions of them to get you started. The first Anthropoid, is set in Prague, in what was, at the time, Czechoslovakia, and is inspired by the famous assassination of German general Reinhard Heydrick in 1942. Occupation is a remake of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Resistance map, set in the streets of Nazi-occupied Paris. Finally, Valkyrie takes place in the Masurian Woods in East Prussia, and is inspired by The Wolf’s Lair, Hitler’s HQ during the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union.

Operation Intercept is coming to War Mode. Activision describe it as “an urban rescue mission,” where you’ll be tasked with saving resistance fighters being transported by train. If you’re playing as an allied unit, you’ll be tasked with freeing the fighters, destroying comms equipment, and finally stopping the train.

Finally, the new Zombies chapter is The Darkest Shore. After the disaster that was Mittelburg, the zombies team have learned that their next location is an island off the coast of Germany that just so happens to be covered with the Undead.

You can see a preview of the entirety of the Resistance DLC in the video above. The new content will launch for PS4 on January 30, but Xbox and PC players will have to wait until February to get their hands on it.
