COD: Modern Warfare Remastered’s new trailer looks alright

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered gameplay trailer

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered just got a final gameplay trailer and it looks alright. It looks not bad. It looks acceptable.

For more blasts from the past, check out our list of the best old games.

For a 2007 game, it’s looking rather nice, actually – if the final release matches the visual quality on offer in the trailer above, then it could be one of the prettier remasters we’ve seen.

Remasters are all about hitting that nostalgia and trying to make the game match how much it impressed when you first played it.

To achieve that, the new trailer gets us to relive Modern Warfare’s best moments: assaulting a tanker, creeping throughChernobyl in a ghillie suit and dying in a nuclear blast. All those lovely memories we share.

Currently Modern Warfare Remastered is only available by pre-ordering COD: Infinite Warfare, but we’re expecting it to get a standalone version at a later date. Its multiplayer mode will launch with only ten maps, so Activision will be wanting to sell DLC to people, no doubt.

COD: Infinite Warfare releases on November 4, along with Modern Warfare Remastered.
