Anno 2205’s Tundra DLC is out today, adds a new 82,000 acre territory

ANNO 2205

Landing today at the same time as a free update for existing players, Anno 2205’s Tundra DLC gives players access to a brand new sector to manage along with the Temperate, Arctic and Moon biomes.

You can get more of a building fix with the choices in our list of PC’s best strategy games.

In a barren area called the Vanha Plains there are 82,000 acres of land to gather new resources from and to build shiny skyscrapers on top of. You’ll have to cope with fresh challenges, too. Marshland snakes through the land, and you have to suck out the moisture before building on top of it.

Additionally, Tundra scientists and Tundra Protectors will require you to build five new production chains and ten new goods types to keep their needs fulfilled, so you will need to keep your management skills sharp.

Solving Tundra’s sector quest will improve farms and factories across all regions in the game. You’ll also get to control a “futuristic flying vehicle to hover over the desert landscapes.” I bet that won’t be as good as Desert Strike, though.

A free update named “Corporation HQ” is also available today. This enhances the corporation progression screen “to make it more intuitive, and to provide a good overview of the player’s achievements and improvements”. You will also be able to sell goods depending on requests to NPC traders.

Tundra is available to owners of Anno 2205’s Season Pass, and can be purchased independently for £9.99 on Steam.
