How to fight a Furnace Golem
The best way to kill a Furnace Golem in Elden Ring is to use Torrent to evade its close combat attacks, consisting of explosions and flames caused by the golem stomping its feet. If the Furnace Golem is attacking from an elevated position, they summon fireballs and attack with their arms instead.
Unlike most enemies in Elden Ring, Furnace Golems are invulnerable to damage, featuring a limited number of weak points which you need to hit to take them down. These weak points include their faceplate, the flame opening on their back, and occasionally, their legs. The legs only work if the Furnace Golem you’re attacking doesn’t have spike armor, but there are different variants in the world.
Here are a few ways of killing a Furnace Golem in Elden Ring:
- Use Hefty Fire Pots and throw them into the chamber on top of the golem in the center of its back, triggering an explosion.
